Northside Cardiology (NSC) is a patient-oriented practice that provides holistic and compassionate care for all cardiology patients, at an affordable price and with the effectiveness and convenience of private practice.
Dr. Nilesh Mehta, senior cardiologist at Northside Cardiology, has been practising in the northern suburbs and northern Victoria for 13 years. He has a public appointment at Northern Hospital. NSC was opened in 2016 to provide high-quality care for all patients, public and private. We have a team that can treat a wide variety of heart diseases, including ischaemic heart disease, general cardiology, heart failure, and cardiac imaging.
Northside cardiology is a modern, state-of-the-art practice, and our cardiologists are highly experienced and skilled at providing care for a range of heart diseases. We have a full diagnostic suite, using the latest in sophisticated equipment. We provide consultations, echocardiogram, stress echocardiogram, 24-hour Holter and BP monitors from our centre.
We are located on the top floor with stunning views of northern suburbs and the Dandenong mountain ranges. There is ample free parking at the site.
NSC has been providing consultation and diagnostic services to country Victoria patients for last ten years, and the elderly patients, who can not travel to Melbourne, get equally competent and holistic care near their home. Many patients from towns like Kilmore, Wallan, Wandong, Seymour, Nagambie, Yea, Benalla etc have been treated at our peripheral clinics in Kilmore and Seymour. We also provide Telehealth or so called “Video/ Skype consultation” for convenience of country patients.
Consultations and investigations can be arranged through our referral form or by the convenience of our online referral form.
All investigations, including echocardiogram, stress echocardiogram and 24-hour Holter monitor, are bulk billed.
